Board Approved Promotions

The First Bank Kansas Board of Directors is proud to announce the promotion of three distinguished staff members, Brittany May to Vice President of Data Management, Gunnar Hays to Vice President Loan Officer and Jaden Miller to Vice President Loan Officer.

May has been with First Bank Kansas for nearly 14 years. She has served in numerous roles including teller, personal banker, and loan operations before finding her calling in data management. “Data is my love language,” said May. “I love to look for efficiencies to help other departments in the bank run smoother.” In her free time, May enjoys taking time to read, crochet and play card games but you can often find her cheering on her kids at their sports and activities.

Hays began his banking career seven years ago and has been with First Bank Kansas for three years. Growing up in rural northwestern Kansas gave Hays a wealth of experience in agriculture as he learned the trade from his father, a fifth generation Kansas farmer. He still enjoys returning to the family farm to assist with duties in his free time. Hays’ primary role at the bank is in Ag and Commercial lending. “I enjoy being able to help serve the Ellsworth and Ag Community within my role, and appreciate the experience and guidance received by many great people at First Bank Kansas,” said Hays.

Miller has been an integral part of the lending team for over three years. He grew up near Harper, Kansas, on his family’s farm. He is passionate about helping others achieve their goals and wants to make an impact on his community. In his free time, Miller can be found cheering on the K-State Wildcats, playing the occasional round of golf and spending time with his family and friends. Miller said the thing he likes most about First Bank Kansas is, “the lasting relationships with customers as well as the strong working culture FBK has created and maintained over the years.”

Please join us in congratulating these individuals and wishing them continued success.
