FBK Announces Promotions

The First Bank Kansas Board of Directors is proud to announce the promotion of two distinguished staff members, Carly Sutton to Vice-President/Loan Officer and Cheryl Tatum to Vice-President/Branch Manager/Loan Officer.
Sutton began her banking career in 2011 and came to First Bank Kansas in 2014 through bank acquisition. Carly has been a staple in the lending department at 235 S Santa Fe since that time beginning in a loan support position. Sutton says, “I love spending time with family and getting involved in our community. I have deep connections to the construction and trade industry which has developed into a passion that helped me become a more diverse lender.”
Tatum joined the First Bank Kansas team in 2020 and has worked in a variety of retail banking positions in all the Salina locations since that time. Tatum shares, “In my time with First Bank Kansas I’ve seen how their culture embraces faith, family and then work.” Cheryl is passionate about serving others and finding ways to give back to the Salina community.
