New Mastercard Debit Card FAQs
YOUR EXISTING DEBIT CARD IS BEING REPLACED!
Simply continue to use your existing Visa debit card for now, then activate and start using your new Mastercard debit card as soon as it arrives. Also, remember to provide your new debit card number to any merchants who automatically bill your existing card.
Why are we replacing your card?
Your new Mastercard debit card will help us to serve you better by providing you with added benefits you can use every day. With your new Mastercard debit card, you will benefit from added chip technology with improved security as well as great new benefits and services. You will not experience any interruption in account access during this transition process.
When will your new card arrive?
You can expect to receive your card between September 6 and September 22.
What steps do I need to take to activate my new card?
- Call 1.844.492.8038 and supply your full Social Security number or Business Identification number. The first PIN used after activation will be your new PIN.
- Sign the back of your card.
- Destroy your old card.
- Contact any merchants who automatically bill your existing card and give them your new card number.
Will my PIN remain the same?
The first PIN used after activation will be your new PIN. After activating your card, simply use your card at any ATM or merchant with a PIN of your choosing. That first PIN used will become your PIN.
Will you get more than one card?
If you have more than one card today, then you will receive a replacement for each card. Call us at 785.825.2211 or toll free at 1.877.402.9019 when your cards are received and we will assist you in identifying which card is linked to which account.
Is there any cost to me?
No, your new card will have no annual fee, just like the card it replaces.
